Bunions:
This is the most common reason patients come in for surgical consultation. There are many myths about bunion surgery. Our patients experience little to no pain post operatively. They are able walk immediately after surgery, and in most cases can return to work within 3 days . Bunion surgery is very well tolerated and within 4 weeks most patients are able to return to shoe gear.
Hammertoes:
Hammertoe surgery is also a very common issue. Hammertoe surgery is very well tolerated and has a short recovery period. Within 2 weeks patients are able to return to shoe gear and start to resume activity. Patients are always thrilled to be pain free and to be able to wear sandals without feeling embarrassed.
We perform our surgeries at out patient ambulatory surgery centers. Patients are able to come in the morning of, and leave directly after their procedures. Our nurses, anesthesiologists and support staff are all kind, caring, and experienced. All of these factors enable us to provide the best care, the best outcomes, and the easiest of recoveries.
