For all our patients who are going to avail our services for the first time, we would suggest you to follow these instructions before, during and after your appointment with Advanced Podiatry . There’s nothing to worry if you are a first timer as this guide will help you sail through the process quite easily.
- Make a list of the symptoms and issues that are worrying you.
- Additional list containing the details of previous medication and surgeries.
- Do not forget to bring the previous medical records and test reports like X-Rays, medical lab test reports, MRIs, etc.
- If you need special attention or have a specific issue, please let us know beforehand.
- Inform your insurance provider about the appointment.
- You can ask one of your family members or friends to accompany you to our center.
- If you use special shoes for walking, jogging or exercise, please bring it along with you to the center.
During the appointment, make sure:
- You have got all your queries answered by our doctors.
- If you did not understand something, please ask to explain it further.
- Listen carefully and if necessary, take notes.
- Discuss all your symptoms, any changes or any developments with our doctors. It will help them in proper analysis.
- Ask about the medication techniques if you are new to the modern procedures.
- Take note of every medicine prescribed to you, what its effects are and how to take them.
- In case of allergies, please let the doctor know beforehand.
- Let the podiatrist know if you are pregnant or are planning to conceive.
- In case you are undergoing additional treatments, please let the doctor know about it.
After Your Visit To Advanced Podiatry Center :
- Get all the tests done as soon as possible which are recommended by the pediatrician.
- Ask us about any special things to focus on, if necessary or possible side effects.
- Ask beforehand if there would be any side effect of the test.
- Do not forget to ask when and how the test results would be made available to you.
- Schedule a follow-up appointment with our pediatrician once your test reports are available.
- If you did not receive a test report on schedule, please feel free to intimate the same to us as well as the laboratory.
- Make aware of all the facts to the pediatrician once you receive the reports.
