Dr. Francisco Lago,
D.P.M, AACFAS
Dr. Lago did a three year foot and ankle surgical residency at Saint Vincent Catholic Medical Centers in New York. He served as Chief Resident his last year. Currently he is a member of the medical staff at Stamford Hospital, St. John's Hospital & Mary Immaculate Hospital.
Dr. Lago is a teaching faculty member of the Saint Vincent Catholic Medical Centers (Brooklyn/Queens Division) Podiatric Residency Program. He achieved his board qualification status with the American Board of Podiatric Surgery in 2002.
Dr. Lago speaks fluent Spanish & Portuguese. He is an active member of the Queens County Podiatric Society, New York State Podiatric Medical Association, American Podiatric Medical Association, and an Associate of the American College of Foot & ankle Surgeons.

Pedram Hendizadeh, D.P.M.
Dr. Hendizadeh earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of Connecticut, Storrs. He graduated as an Honors Scholar. He then attended the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in Manhattan to earn his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine Degree. Dr. Hendizadeh then completed a 2 year surgical residency program at Kern Hospital and Medical Center in Warren, Michigan. He has a special interest in Heel Pain, Pediatric Conditions, and Dermatologic Conditions. He has extensive training for reconstructive surgery and limb salvage. Dr. Hendizadeh is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery

Sahar Movtady, DPM
Dr. Sahar Movtady graduated from Hofstra University in New York with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She then attended New York College of Podiatric Medicine where she graduated with a degree in Doctor of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Movtady did a two year foot and ankle surgical residency at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. She was trained in wound care management and limb salvage, diabetic foot care, and forefoot surgery.
Alan Weisman, DPM, CWS, DABPOPPM
Dr. Alan Weisman has a special interest in wound care and is Board Certified by the American Academy of Wound Management. He recognizes the importance of conservative and surgical treatment of the foot and ankle, as well as the early diagnosis of skin disorders. He is also Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Weisman began his training at St. Clare's Hospital in Manhattan. There, he completed a medical internship followed by a forefoot surgery residency.Following his training in New York, Dr. Weisman furthered his education as a resident in rear foot and ankle surgery at St. Luke's Hospital in Pennsylvania. After a year of reconstructive podiatric trauma, limb salvage, and emergency surgical cases, along with rotations in vascular surgery, plastic surgery, and orthopedics, Dr. Weisman continued his training in the only accredited podiatric dermatology fellowship in the country. His training involved diagnosing and treating all skin disorders with an emphasis on lower extremity pathology.
Dr. Weisman's warm personality and use of humor make him a favorite among patients and staff. He demonstrates a genuine compassion for people and maintains high moral and ethical standards.
In his spare time, Dr. Weisman enjoys playing piano and saxophone. He is also fluent in Spanish.
Dr. Weisman welcomes the opportunity to discuss the diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle disorders, as well as lower extremity skin disorders with area physicians. New patients are welcome and most insurance plans are honored. Physicians and community members are invited to contact the office for additional information or to schedule an evaluation.
