Dr. Kevin Douglas, DPM

Living with type 1 diabetes since the age of 13, which is what drove him to study Podiatry, Dr. Douglas understands the challenges that can arise when managing a chronic illness, and supports his patients to live a full and healthy lifestyle by sharing his own experiences.
Dr. Douglas completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida and earned his medical degree at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 2018. He went on to complete a three year surgical residency at Good Samaritan Hospital in Long Island where he gained experience in forefoot, rearfoot and ankle surgery, trauma, and diabetic limb salvage. Dr. Douglas was awarded top clinical abstract at the NYSPMA Clinical Conference in 2020, and during his third and final year of residency he served as chief resident.
Dr. Douglas is certified by the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons in surgical arthroscopy of the foot and ankle. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, New York State Podiatric Medical Association, and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Originally from Florida, Dr. Douglas has grown to love New York and Long Island over the past 8 years. In his free time you can find Dr. Douglas enjoying the outdoors, spending time with his girlfriend, and playing frisbee with his dog Rocco.
